Fake NSE Investor Services messages and links

Fake NSE messages mention pre-IPO picks, account reviews and unclaimed dividends. See why an exchange does not sell tips.

The National Stock Exchange of India runs the exchange and provides investor information and complaint services. Because many people use it, scammers pretend to be NSE Investor Services in SMS, WhatsApp and email messages. This page lists the lies they usually tell and how to check before you act.

How to verify it yourself

The exchange does not call retail investors to sell shares, collect fees or approve accounts. Investors deal with registered brokers, and unclaimed dividends or shares are checked through the company's registrar or the investor protection channel using official websites you type yourself. Verify any adviser's registration on the regulator's site before paying. Stock tips groups using a logo are not endorsed by the exchange, and money asked for to clear a review is a sign of fraud.

How Safeavio helps

Paste the message or the link into Safeavio Sentinel (or share it to the app) and it shows a plain verdict with the reasons: urgency, a money demand, a lookalike address or an OTP request. It checks the text you give it and cannot promise to catch every scam.

Check it before you tap or pay

Safeavio Sentinel is a made-in-India Android app: paste a message or link, or scan a QR code, and get a plain verdict with the reasons. It helps you spot a scam; it does not promise to stop every one.
