How to verify it yourself

Check the official Mahabank app from the store, or type the Bank of Maharashtra website address yourself. Loan waivers and farm schemes are announced through government sources and your own branch, not through a registration fee on a call. Standing instructions can be seen and managed in your own account. A support app asked for by a caller gives them access to your screen, so decline it and visit the branch.

Open the official app, or type the official website yourself, and look for the same notice.
Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
If money moved, call 1930 and your bank at once.
