How to verify it yourself

Open the Paytm app from the official store and look at the wallet or FASTag section there for any notice. Rules about wallets and FASTag have changed over time, so type the Paytm Payments Bank website by hand when you need current details. A refund arrives without you entering a PIN. KYC is done inside the app or at an authorised point, not over a forwarded link. Your UPI PIN is only for paying.

Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
