Delete your Safeavio account and data
How to ask us to delete your Safeavio account and the data tied to it, what is removed, and what we keep.
01Who this is for
This page is for people who use the Safeavio Sentinel app (package com.safeavio) or the Safeavio console on safeavio.com, published by BIDUA Industries Private Limited.
02How to ask for deletion
- In the app: open Settings, then Account, then Delete account, and confirm.
- On the website: sign in at safeavio.com, open your account page and choose Request deletion.
- By email: write to [email protected] from the e-mail address of your account and say "Delete my account". We will reply to confirm it is you.
03What happens next
Your request is marked straight away and you can withdraw it for 7 days. After that an operator removes the account.
A phone paired as a family phone has no account of its own. Remove it from the family list, or ask the family parent to remove it, and the phone is unpaired and its key is freed.
04What is deleted
- Your account name, e-mail address and sign-in details.
- Devices and keys linked to the account, family membership, family chat and shared locations.
- Scan results, alerts, reports and notification history stored by the hub for your account.
05What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and invoice records, for as long as tax and accounting law in India requires.
- Security and audit records that do not identify you beyond the account reference, for up to 12 months.
- Encrypted backups, which are overwritten after 14 days, so deleted data leaves the backups within that time.
06Data on your phone
Settings, App Lock data and local scan results stay on the phone. Uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings to remove them. Deleting the account does not need the app to be installed.
07Delete only some data
You can clear your scan history and notifications inside the app, and turn off location sharing at any time. To ask us to delete other specific data without closing the account, email [email protected].
