From sign-up to protected, step by step

Pick what you want to protect. Each step says what you do, where you do it and what you should see. The free checks in the Android app work without an account or a key.

  1. Create your account

    Sign up on the website with your e-mail or Sign in with Google. You need an account to buy a key and to see your phone in the portal. The free checks in the app work without an account.

  2. Buy a key

    Open Keys and billing, then Buy, and pay in rupees by UPI, card or net banking (PayU). One key protects one phone for a year. A family pack covers several phones and a computer. There is no purchase inside the app.

  3. Find your key

    After the payment is confirmed, open Keys and seats and choose Show key (it asks for your password). You get a key like RMSN-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and a QR code of it. Keep it private.

  4. Install the app

    Download the signed APK from this site (Android 7.0 or later) and install it. Google Play is coming; until then this is the only official place.

  5. Enter the key in the app

    On the first start the app asks "Do you have a product key?". You can also go to More, Subscription and Billing, Activate a key. Type the key or scan its QR code. The paid tools (Family, Anti-Theft and others) unlock on that phone. The app does not need a login for this.

  6. Optional: add the phone to the portal

    To see the phone in the portal and use locate, ring and lock from there, open Add a device, choose phone, make a one-time code and enter it in the app. This is separate from the key: you can use a key without it.

Good to know

  • A key works on one phone at a time. To move it, use Release in the app on the old phone, or free it from your account.
  • Family: a parent buys a family pack and pairs each child phone with a code. Each child phone takes one seat from the pack. Children do not need an account.
  • Lost the key? Open Keys and seats, then Show key again.
  • Google Play: coming soon.

Before you start

Do I need to pay to try it?
No. The free checks in the Android app (scam, link and QR checks, scans, alerts) work without an account or a key. A key unlocks the paid tools.
Can I buy a key and type it straight into the app?
Yes. Buy on the website, open Keys and seats, show the key and enter it in the app. You do not have to add the phone to the portal.
Then why add a device to the portal?
Adding the phone lets the portal show its status and send actions such as locate, ring and lock. It is optional and separate from the key.
Can one key work on two phones?
No. One key works on one phone at a time. Release it to move it.
Where is the key for my computer or server?
Computer and server keys are sold, but the desktop app and the server agent connect with a code or an API key today and do not have a key screen yet.
