Fake Myntra calls and apps
Calls and chats using Myntra's name for return disputes, exchange fees and cheap branded clothes. Read the script before you reply.
Myntra is an Indian online store focused on clothing, footwear and fashion accessories, with an Insider loyalty programme and sale events. Because many people use it, scammers pretend to be Myntra on phone calls, in apps and on WhatsApp. This page lists the lies they usually tell and how to check before you act.
Lines used in fake Myntra calls and apps
- Caller says a size exchange needs a small payment that he will collect by UPI request
- Fake support says your return was rejected and asks you to share a screen to appeal
- WhatsApp contact sells branded clothes at huge discount and asks for advance payment
- Caller says your Myntra credit has been blocked until you read out an OTP
How to verify it yourself
Use the Myntra app to see Orders, Returns and Myntra Credit. Exchange and return decisions always appear in the order page, so any story that lives only in a message is a reason to pause. Type the site name by hand rather than tapping a text link. Myntra staff do not need your card details, a screen-sharing session or an OTP to process a return. Collect requests are for paying, never for receiving.
Quick checklist
- Do not tap links or call numbers inside the message.
- Open the official app, or type the official website yourself, and look for the same notice.
- Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
- If money moved, call 1930 and your bank at once.

Treat it as unverified. Hang up and contact Myntra through its official app or the number printed on your card, bill or official website. Never install an app or share an OTP because a caller asked.
Can Myntra ask me to install an app on a call?
Be very careful. Scammers use screen-sharing and fake apps to watch your screen and read OTPs. Install apps only from the official store listing that you find yourself, never from a link or a caller.
