How to verify it yourself
For a train booking, the PNR can be checked on the ixigo app and on the railway's own booking site, which should agree. Cancellation refunds appear in your booking history and go back to the source account without any extra step. Nobody can promise a guaranteed Tatkal seat for a fee. Install ixigo only from your phone's official app store, and use help options inside the app instead of numbers from search results or chats.

Do not judge by the sender name or the logo; both can be copied. Open the official ixigo app or type its website yourself and look for the same notice. ixigo will not ask for your OTP, PIN or password in a message.
