How to verify it yourself
Bookings, professional details and payments sit inside the Urban Company app, so confirm each one there. Pay through the app rather than to a person's UPI ID. A service OTP or start code is meant for the professional at your door, to be shared in person, not on a call. A refund is credited to the source of payment, and approving a collect request only moves money out. Professional sign-ups follow official onboarding, and legitimate costs are shown there.
