Fake MPL (Mobile Premier League) messages and links
Fake MPL private tournaments, coin withdrawal fees and ban fines ask for UPI payments. Check your wallet inside the app.
MPL, the Mobile Premier League, is a mobile gaming platform that hosts skill games, tournaments and cash contests. Because many people use it, scammers pretend to be MPL (Mobile Premier League) in SMS, WhatsApp and email messages. This page lists the lies they usually tell and how to check before you act.
Lines used in fake MPL (Mobile Premier League) messages
- MPL: you are selected for a private tournament, pay the entry fee to a personal account
- Reward coins ready to withdraw, send Rs 99 to verify your wallet
- Download the new MPL Pro app for extra cash bonuses
- Account banned for cheating, pay a fine to reactivate it
How to verify it yourself
See wallet balance, entry fees and account status inside the MPL app, and only through its in-app payment screens. Tournaments are joined from the app's own lobby, and no genuine entry is paid to a personal UPI ID or a gift card. A ban fine or a hack that fixes results is not a real service. Do not share your UPI PIN with anyone, since a PIN is only needed to pay, never to receive. Use the in-app help option and install the app only from your store.
Quick checklist
- Do not tap links or call numbers inside the message.
- Open the official app, or type the official website yourself, and look for the same notice.
- Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
- If money moved, call 1930 and your bank at once.
