KreditBee is an Indian digital lending app that offers short-term personal loans to salaried people and young borrowers. Because many people use it, scammers pretend to be KreditBee on phone calls, in apps and on WhatsApp. This page lists the lies they usually tell and how to check before you act.

How to verify it yourself

Check the loan balance and due date inside the official app, which you should install only from the store listing. A limit increase is decided by the lender and does not need a fee paid to someone on chat. Threats to message your contacts are a pressure tactic, and you can report them on the cybercrime portal. Never type your UPI PIN to claim cashback, because a PIN is only for paying. Avoid apps asking for contacts or gallery access.

Do not tap links or call numbers inside the message.
Open the official app, or type the official website yourself, and look for the same notice.
Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
If money moved, call 1930 and your bank at once.
