How to verify it yourself

The lender's own app and your statement show every instalment charged, so compare any claim of a double charge with those records. Taxes on a loan appear in the sanction letter, not as a separate payment sent to an individual before release. Credit bureau reports are not changed by a phone call asking for money. Apps for faster approval should never be installed from files sent in chat, and card numbers are not needed to refund you.

Do not tap links or call numbers inside the message.
Open the official app, or type the official website yourself, and look for the same notice.
Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
If money moved, call 1930 and your bank at once.
