How to verify it yourself

If something seems wrong, go to your home branch or the bank's official app and check the account status yourself. A top-up loan is never released after a stranger collects a deposit by UPI. Fraud-blocking never needs your OTP, as the bank can see its own systems. Sharing your phone screen with a caller exposes every message and banking app, so refuse such requests. Use only the number printed on your card or passbook.

Open the official app, or type the official website yourself, and look for the same notice.
Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
If money moved, call 1930 and your bank at once.
