Fake Tata CLiQ messages and links
Texts using Tata CLiQ mention held orders, CLiQ Cash expiry and luxury sale entry fees. See how to check your account.
Tata CLiQ is an Indian online marketplace from the Tata group that sells fashion, electronics, beauty and luxury products. Because many people use it, scammers pretend to be Tata CLiQ in SMS, WhatsApp and email messages. This page lists the lies they usually tell and how to check before you act.
Lines used in fake Tata CLiQ messages
- Tata CLiQ order on hold, confirm your payment at this link
- CLiQ Cash expiring tonight, withdraw to your bank account
- Luxury sale invitation, pay an entry amount to unlock prices
- Return pickup failed, pay the reverse shipping charge
How to verify it yourself
Returns, pickups and wallet balances are managed in your account on the official Tata CLiQ app or website. Return pickup on eligible items is arranged through the order page and the refund goes back to your payment source. A wallet balance cannot be withdrawn by entering card details for a caller. If you receive a cancel request for an order you do not recognise, search your order list yourself instead of reading out an OTP.
Quick checklist
- Do not tap links or call numbers inside the message.
- Open the official app, or type the official website yourself, and look for the same notice.
- Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
- If money moved, call 1930 and your bank at once.
How Safeavio helps

Check it before you tap or pay
Safeavio Sentinel is a made-in-India Android app: paste a message or link, or scan a QR code, and get a plain verdict with the reasons. It helps you spot a scam; it does not promise to stop every one.
