How to verify it yourself

Your real EMI schedule is available in the loan agreement and in the bank's own app, so compare any demand with it. Pay EMIs only through the bank's official payment page or at the branch, not to a new UPI ID mentioned by a caller. A bank will not ask for a card PIN to change a nominee. Take a breath, hang up and open your own banking channel to see whether anything is actually pending.

Open the official app, or type the official website yourself, and look for the same notice.
Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
If money moved, call 1930 and your bank at once.
