Naukri is a long-running Indian job portal where candidates upload resumes and recruiters search them and post openings. Because many people use it, scammers pretend to be Naukri in SMS, WhatsApp and email messages. This page lists the lies they usually tell and how to check before you act.

How to verify it yourself
Log in to Naukri through its app or the website you type yourself and look at your messages and applications there. Real employers do not ask candidates for money for interviews, kits, training or offer letters. Confirm a recruiter by searching the company's own careers page and matching the job to it. Share Aadhaar or bank details only after you have signed a verified offer, and never share an OTP with a recruiter.

Do not judge by the sender name or the logo; both can be copied. Open the official Naukri app or type its website yourself and look for the same notice. Naukri will not ask for your OTP, PIN or password in a message.

Close the page without typing anything. If you entered details, change the password at once from the official app, call your bank or provider using the number on your card or bill, and report at cybercrime.gov.in. If money moved, call 1930.
