How to verify it yourself

Look at your fund value and premium status in the official ICICI Pru app or on the company website that you type in yourself. A ULIP is changed or surrendered through your own login or written request, and tax is not paid to a caller. Be wary of customer care numbers found in search results or ads, and use the one printed in your policy booklet. Fund value is visible to you, so no OTP is needed to unlock it.

Do not tap links or call numbers inside the message.
Open the official app, or type the official website yourself, and look for the same notice.
Never share an OTP, PIN, CVV or password with anyone, including "staff".
If money moved, call 1930 and your bank at once.
