How it looks on WhatsApp, the red flags and what to do.
WhatsApp is private and fast, which scammers like: a "wrong number" chat can turn into a task, an investment tip or a payment request within minutes. WhatsApp Stock Tips Group Scam is one of the ways this shows up: A free WhatsApp group shares stock tips that seem to win, then pushes a paid VIP plan or a trading app. The tips are staged to win your trust.

- A group invite promising returns, jobs or prizes.
- A PDF, APK or image that must be opened to "see the details".
- A link that pretends to be a wa.me, courier or bank page.
The scammer adds you to a group named after a market expert or a research firm, using a stolen logo and a profile photo. Daily messages show stock names, target prices and charts.
